Many competitors sell Amish lighthouses made of T-111 or OSB plywood to save on costs, but they just do not hold up in the elements. They are also hollow inside so they can be placed over unsightly obstructions like stumps or well covers. Each lighthouse comes with a standard 25 W bulb, or you may customize your lighthouse with an LED, revolving, Fresnel, or solar beacon. Beacon upgrades are shipped separately for an easy DIY install
