For $50 in materials, you can build this 4 ft. tall lighthouse in
one weekend! The entire lighthouse is made of standard 2 x
4’s, and the square shape doesn’t require any unique angles.
Make it out of regular 2 x 4’s and paint it, or go with pressure-
treated lumber for a natural wood look. The body of the
lighthouse actually lifts off so you can access or hide objects in
